Girl Scouts Gold Award

This Gold Award project was created to support homeless and struggling veterans by providing care baskets meant to bring comfort, hope, and dignity. The goal is to recognize their service and remind them they are valued and supported by their community by assembling and distributing care baskets filled with essential hygiene items, snacks, seasonal necessities (like socks or blankets), and hand-written notes of encouragement. As a Girl Scout and student passionate about making a difference, I chose to focus on veterans because I believe no one who has served our country should be forgotten or left behind, and through this project I aim to achieve that.
