379 EMDG/ERPSF - Air Force
“Dear MilVet – Military & Veteran Support Services,
On behalf of the 379th En Route Patient Staging (ERPS) team in Qatar, I am writing to express our deepest gratitude for your continuous and generous donations. Your support has been a profound blessing to our team and, most importantly, to the injured servicemembers we care for.
Over the course of our six-month deployment rotation, our facility has medically evacuated (MEDEVAC) nearly 1,000 injured servicemembers out of the Middle East. Your contributions have been felt immensely during both our standard peacetime efforts and our current combat operations under Operation Epic Fury.
Often, our servicemembers arrive for their MEDEVAC flights with nothing more than a 72-hour bag, lacking the basic toiletries and snacks needed to get them through their journey. The individual snacks and travel-sized hygiene items you provide are more than just supplies—they are a massive morale booster that brings unexpected comfort to our warfighters during incredibly vulnerable times. I have attached several photos from our past rotation so you can see firsthand the smiles and the incredible impact your generosity has brought to our mission.
As our deployment rotation draws to a close, we are preparing to hand over the reins to the next dedicated team. The ERPS MEDEVAC mission, however, will continue. If it is within your heart and your budget, we humbly ask that you continue to bless our future injured servicemembers.
High-Demand Items We Constantly Need:
Toiletries (Travel Size): Deodorant, body lotion, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, bar soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, face soap/moisturizers, sunscreen, and body wipes.
Clothing & Comfort: Shower shoes, male and female undergarments (various sizes), socks, and men’s/women’s t-shirts, pants, and shorts (sweats or athletic wear in various sizes).
Laundry: Clothing detergent and dryer sheets.
Beverages: Coffee (K-cups or whole beans), creamer, tea, hot chocolate, and flavored water/juice packets.
Snacks: Small, individually packaged personal snacks, candy, peanuts, trail mix, granola/protein bars, Debbie Cakes, ramen noodles, chips, crackers, cookies, and beef jerky.
Thank you once again for your unwavering support, your patriotism, and your kindness. You are an essential part of our extended team, and we could not complete our mission of caring for America’s sons and daughters without you.” Capt. M. 4/25/26
