Mary Phillips Senior Center Nutrition Program - Provides meals on site for those ages 60+ and their spouses. Meals are served Monday - Friday at 11:30 am. Reservations are required 24 hours in advance by calling (951) 694-6465 between 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. There is a suggested donation of $3 for seniors and $5 for non-seniors. 911 Senior Emergency Cellular Phone Program
Cellular phones are delivered to at-risk seniors 60 years of age or older who live alone, or with a caregiver, and may have difficulty reaching a stationary phone in an emergency. The phones are not connected to a service, but are still capable of connecting the Senior to the 911 emergency response system.

Office on Aging - Nursing, therapies, and personal care services are provided by nurses, licensed allied health professionals, and home health aides. Great Life Senior Care for Veterans - This program is for Veterans who need a Home Health Aide due to the inability to accomplish activities of daily living, are isolated from family or the family caregiver is experiencing a burden or stress. Seniors Helping Seniors - United Way - Senior Companions are volunteers 55 and over who provide assistance and friendship to seniors who have difficulty with daily living tasks, such as shopping. The program aims to keep seniors independent longer, and provide assistance to family caregivers. Senior Companions serve 15-40 hours per week. Volunteers receive pre-service orientation, training from the organization while on duty, and may qualify to earn a tax-free hourly stipend. For more information please call (951) 929-0423.
YANA Project - You Are Not Alone - Murrieta Police Department volunteers will make phone calls Monday - Friday before 10:00 a.m. If no contact is made after 3 attempts, an emergency contact person will be contacted to check on the participant. Therapeutic Arts & Crafts
Heal Vets - carries hundreds of various craft kits that fall within four primary categories — woodworking, leather, painting and scale modeling. The kits are absolutely free, including all shipping costs. HEAL VETS Kits range in difficulty from level 1 to level 4 (1 being the most simple). Each kit comes with a thank-you postcard, allowing the veteran to write a personal note of thanks directly to the donor. Postage has already been paid by HEAL VETS, so once card(s) are completed they may be picked up by your postal carrier or dropped into any USPS mailbox.
